Software Engineer
Business Systems Analyst responsible for gathering requirements, modeling processes, and delivering data‑driven solutions using SQL, SAP ERP, and visualization tools to improve operational efficiency in a specialty paper manufacturing environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for system enhancements.
- Analyze existing workflows, create process maps, and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries and reports to support decision‑making and performance monitoring.
- Configure and support ERP modules (e.g., SAP) to align system functionality with business needs.
- Develop dashboards and visualizations using data‑visualization tools to communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide user acceptance testing, and ensure successful rollout of system changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field with 3+ years of business systems analysis experience.
- Proficiency in SQL query writing and data manipulation.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
