About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize transportation metrics and support strategic decision‑making.
- Create and manage automated workflows in Smartsheet and Power Query to streamline data collection, reporting, and cross‑departmental collaboration.
- Collaborate with contracting, procurement, finance, and operations teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and ensure data integrity.
- Analyze complex datasets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve transportation planning, budgeting, and performance.
- Document processes, develop user guides, and train stakeholders on new tools and reporting capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Power BI, Smartsheet, and Power Query in a data‑analysis or business systems role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, capable of working across multiple departments.
- Experience with workflow automation and data integration in a government or transportation context is a plus.
