Software Engineer
Business Systems Analyst who supports the design, configuration, and enhancement of internal tools, translating business needs into functional specifications and delivering reporting solutions using SQL and data‑visualization platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define system scope, objectives, and detailed business requirements.
- Document user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria, and manage requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Configure and customize business applications, ensuring alignment with user needs and best‑practice standards.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and data‑visualization dashboards to support planning, reporting, and analysis.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, track progress in JIRA, and provide status updates to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business analysis and requirements elicitation for enterprise systems.
- Strong knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
- Ability to create clear, actionable documentation and user‑focused visualizations (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on delivering value to internal users.
