About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and document business requirements for data lifecycle processes, including identification, staging, and deletion.
- Collaborate with data engineering and governance teams to design and implement ETL workflows that support data cleanup and retention policies.
- Utilize SQL to extract, transform, and validate data across multiple source systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data governance standards, data dictionaries, and process flows.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing clear user stories and acceptance criteria for development sprints.
- Monitor and report on data quality metrics, identifying gaps and recommending remediation actions.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis within data governance or information lifecycle projects.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, or similar).
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools.
