Senior Business Systems Analyst responsible for monitoring the financial reporting and analytics support queue, delivering user support, and collaborating with IT to maintain and enhance finance systems such as PeopleSoft and Tableau.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and prioritize the Financial Reporting and Analytics support queue, ensuring timely resolution of user issues.
- Partner with IT teams to maintain, configure, and enhance core financial systems, including PeopleSoft and related ERP modules.
- Develop, test, and deploy reports and dashboards using SQL and Tableau to meet finance stakeholder needs.
- Analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for system enhancements.
- Provide end‑user training and documentation for new features, reports, and system changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; 5+ years of experience in financial systems analysis.
- Proficiency with SQL query writing and data extraction for reporting purposes.
- Hands‑on experience building visualizations and dashboards in Tableau.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/financial systems, preferably PeopleSoft Financial Management.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally.
