Business Systems Analyst driving the end‑to‑end lifecycle of claims processing applications, translating business needs into detailed specifications, and collaborating with engineering and customers to deliver high‑quality enhancements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers, engineers, and cross‑functional teams to capture and document capability needs for claims processing applications.
- Translate high‑level business requirements into clear, comprehensive, and detailed specifications for new features and enhancements.
- Participate in the full application product lifecycle, ensuring requirements are accurately implemented and tested.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and reviews to refine scope, validate solutions, and manage change requests.
- Maintain traceability between business requirements, design artifacts, and test cases, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business analysis within the healthcare or insurance domain, particularly claims processing.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to produce detailed functional specifications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and experience working in iterative development environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of bridging technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Knowledge of SQL and data modeling is a plus for working with backend systems.
