Lead the design and enhancement of business systems, translating complex insurance processes into efficient, data‑driven solutions using SQL, Agile practices, and stakeholder collaboration.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze current insurance workflows and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
- Gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements with cross‑functional teams.
- Develop data models and SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and decision‑making.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and business users to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Provide training and support to end users on new system features and best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a complex, regulated environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban) and related tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of insurance or financial services processes is highly desirable.
