Business System Analyst responsible for gathering requirements, modeling processes, and delivering data‑driven solutions using SQL, UML, and Agile practices to support enterprise systems.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritize functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Develop process maps, use case diagrams, and data models (UML, ER diagrams) to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Perform data analysis and SQL queries to validate requirements, support reporting, and ensure data integrity.
- Work within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand‑ups to deliver incremental solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and user acceptance testing to confirm solution alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis within a technology consulting environment.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis; experience with relational databases.
- Strong knowledge of UML, process modeling, and requirements documentation techniques.
- Hands‑on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and collaborative tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
