Business Solutions Analyst - Group Administration - Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain systems and procedures supporting the Group Administration function.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., Programming, Underwriting, Claims) to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to streamline workflow.
• Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
• Perform data extraction, validation, and SQL queries to support ad‑hoc analysis and regulatory reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in business analysis or process improvement, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation; strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications.
