Data Engineer focused on Business Intelligence, building scalable data pipelines, modeling data warehouses, and delivering actionable insights using SQL, Python, ETL tools, Power BI, and AWS services.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into a centralized data warehouse.
- Model and optimize data structures for analytical workloads, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and dashboards.
- Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and troubleshooting to guarantee data integrity and reliability.
- Leverage cloud services (AWS) and BI tools (Power BI) to deliver interactive reports and visualizations.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Hands‑on knowledge of ETL frameworks (e.g., Airflow, dbt) and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Redshift, S3, Glue).
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross‑functional teams.
