Software Engineer
Business & Data Quality Analyst driving data integrity and insight across legacy systems, leveraging SQL, Python, ETL pipelines and Tableau to ensure high‑quality, actionable data for transport operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain ETL processes to cleanse, transform and load data from legacy and modern sources into enterprise data warehouses.
- Implement and enforce data quality frameworks, including validation rules, profiling, and automated monitoring to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data models, dashboards, and reports using Tableau and other BI tools.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis of data anomalies, working cross‑functionally to resolve issues and improve data pipelines.
- Document data definitions, lineage, and governance policies to support compliance and audit readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Strong background in ETL design, data warehousing, and data quality management.
- Hands‑on expertise with Tableau or similar BI platforms for data visualization.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Experience in a regulated or public‑sector environment is a plus.
