Business Analytics Analyst - Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources (ticketing, CRM, social media, IoT) into analytical data stores.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI for senior leadership and operational teams.
• Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends in fan behavior, ticket sales, and venue operations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, product, operations) to define metrics, validate data quality, and translate business questions into analytical solutions.
• Document data definitions, analytical methodologies, and best practices to ensure reproducibility and governance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in business analytics or data analysis, preferably in sports, entertainment, or consumer‑facing industries.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; strong Python skills for data cleaning, analysis, and automation.
• Hands‑on experience building visualizations and dashboards with Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, relational databases, and statistical techniques (regression, clustering, time‑series).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
