Software Engineer
Experienced Building Engineer skilled in commercial chiller, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and control systems, driving energy efficiency and preventive maintenance for a high‑performance data center campus.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair complex HVAC, commercial chiller, plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and control systems across the data center campus.
- Lead energy‑efficiency initiatives, monitoring system performance and implementing improvements.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Respond promptly to critical repairs, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to ensure rapid resolution.
- Document maintenance activities, generate reports, and analyze trends to inform future upgrades.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building systems maintenance, especially commercial chiller and HVAC.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, fire/life safety, and building automation/control systems.
- Ability to analyze performance data and implement energy‑saving measures.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in a fast‑paced, high‑availability environment.
