About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, construction, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems in occupied spaces, ensuring integration with HVAC, lighting, and security controls.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external vendors to meet milestones and quality standards.
- Perform detailed system design, including PLC programming, network architecture, and BMS configuration, using AutoCAD and related drafting tools.
- Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot installation issues, and validate system performance through rigorous testing and commissioning procedures.
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and training materials for facility staff and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in BAS design, installation, and commissioning for commercial or governmental facilities.
- Strong project management skills with experience managing multi‑disciplinary teams and complex schedules.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Valid professional certifications (e.g., BMS, HVAC, Project Management) preferred.
