Lead field technician responsible for designing, installing, and commissioning building automation and energy management systems in mission‑critical data centers, leveraging DDC, PLC, SCADA, and HMI expertise.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and commission DDC, PLC, and SCADA control systems for high‑availability data center environments.
- Integrate Building Automation Systems (BAS) with Energy Performance Management (EPMS) platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal energy use.
- Develop and configure HMI graphics and user interfaces to meet standardized UI/UX guidelines.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to meet compressed schedules while maintaining strict quality and uptime requirements.
- Perform field troubleshooting, testing, and documentation to guarantee system reliability and compliance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with DDC, PLC, and SCADA systems in mission‑critical facilities.
- Proven ability to integrate BAS and EPMS solutions, including HMI/graphics development.
- Strong understanding of data center operational constraints, uptime standards, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and coordination skills for fast‑paced project environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, ISA, or vendor‑specific control system credentials) preferred.
