Software Engineer
Broadcasting Professional Engineer responsible for designing, supervising, and maintaining electrical generation and distribution networks for broadcast operations, ensuring performance, safety, and cost efficiency using advanced engineering tools and standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct feasibility studies, design, and performance research for electrical generation and distribution networks supporting broadcast infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed material cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for projects.
- Supervise and inspect installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
- Develop and enforce maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic components.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
- College, CEGEP, or equivalent non‑university certificate or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of power systems, network design, and broadcast electrical infrastructure.
- Experience in project management, cost estimation, and technical documentation.
- Proficiency with CAD and SCADA tools for design and monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in an urban broadcast environment.
