Lead bridge projects as a seasoned Bridge Engineer and Project Manager, driving design, analysis, and delivery of transportation structures using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM to meet public agency and private client needs.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and construction documentation of bridge and transportation infrastructure projects from concept through completion.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including structural, geotechnical, and environmental specialists, to produce integrated project solutions.
- Prepare and review design calculations, drawings, and reports, utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM tools.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality control, and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or related field) with a valid professional engineer license preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge design and project management within a consulting environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BIM software for transportation projects.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, transportation design standards, and environmental permitting processes.
