QA Engineer
Design, develop and execute functional, integration, regression and system test cases for brake application software, ensuring compliance with automotive standards and delivering high‑quality embedded solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain automated test cases for brake application software across functional, integration, regression and system levels.
- Develop test harnesses and scripts using C++ and Python to validate embedded ECU behavior on CAN networks.
- Collaborate with software developers to define test requirements, review specifications and ensure traceability to AUTOSAR and ISO 26262 standards.
- Execute hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) and software‑in‑the‑loop (SIL) testing using MATLAB/Simulink models and real‑time test rigs.
- Analyze test results, log defects, and work with cross‑functional teams to drive root‑cause resolution and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python for test automation.
- Hands‑on experience with CAN communication, AUTOSAR architecture, and embedded systems development.
- Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink for model‑based testing and validation.
- Knowledge of automotive safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262) and a solid understanding of brake system functionality.
