About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with border security and law‑enforcement clients to define AI/ML use cases and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models and toolsets that support mission‑critical operations.
- Implement end‑to‑end data pipelines, from data ingestion to model deployment, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Integrate solutions with existing security platforms and cloud services, primarily AWS, to deliver real‑time insights.
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and performance tuning of models in production environments.
- Document architecture, code, and best practices for internal teams and client stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Proven track record of deploying ML solutions in operational settings, preferably in security or defense domains.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (SageMaker, EC2, S3, Lambda) for model training and deployment.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on mission‑critical outcomes.
- Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one within a short timeframe.
