QA Engineer
Lead end‑to‑end test activities for high‑speed rail systems, designing test plans, executing automated and manual tests, and analyzing results to ensure safety and performance using industry‑standard tools and data‑driven approaches.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for high‑speed rail components and systems.
- Execute manual and automated tests, capture results, and perform root‑cause analysis to identify defects and performance gaps.
- Collaborate with design, development, and quality teams to define test requirements and verify compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Utilize data‑analysis tools to interpret test data, generate reports, and recommend improvements to product design and testing processes.
- Participate in cross‑functional reviews, provide technical input on test strategy, and mentor junior test engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in test engineering within the rail or transportation sector.
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
