Application Support Engineer supporting Blueflame AI’s AI deal‑sourcing platform, ensuring uptime, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with devs to optimize performance using Python, AWS, SQL, and Linux environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 application support for Blueflame AI’s AI‑driven deal sourcing platform, diagnosing and resolving incidents across production, staging, and development environments.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement monitoring, alerting, and automated remediation using AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Write and maintain Python scripts for data extraction, log parsing, and performance tuning; manage SQL queries for data validation and reporting.
- Document troubleshooting procedures, create runbooks, and contribute to knowledge base to improve team efficiency.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, conduct root‑cause analysis, and recommend infrastructure or code changes to prevent recurrence.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in application support or DevOps for cloud‑native applications.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and Linux shell scripting.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) and monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
