About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and validate machine learning models to identify and prioritize biomarker candidates from multi-omics datasets.
- Perform advanced statistical analyses and data visualizations to support hypothesis generation and experimental design.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including wet-lab scientists and clinical researchers, to translate computational findings into actionable insights.
- Develop reproducible data pipelines using Python, R, and SQL, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Publish findings in internal reports and external scientific journals, presenting results at conferences and workshops.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Statistics, or related field.
- Proven experience in biomarker discovery and validation using high-throughput data.
- Strong programming skills in Python and R, with familiarity in machine learning libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and version control (Git) is a plus.
