Research Engineer
Lead computational analyses of immune‑related genomic data, developing pipelines in Python and R to uncover biomarkers and therapeutic targets using next‑generation sequencing and machine learning techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable bioinformatics pipelines for immune‑genomic data processing.
- Analyze high‑throughput sequencing datasets (RNA‑seq, ATAC‑seq, single‑cell) to identify immune signatures and biomarkers.
- Collaborate with wet‑lab scientists to integrate computational findings into experimental workflows.
- Develop and apply machine learning models to predict immune responses and therapeutic outcomes.
- Document methods, produce reproducible workflows, and publish results in peer‑reviewed journals.
Requirements
- PhD or Master’s in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python and R for data analysis and pipeline development.
- Experience with next‑generation sequencing data and immunogenomics.
- Strong statistical background and familiarity with machine learning libraries.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
