Software Engineer
Experienced BIM Engineer focused on building technology systems (ICT, Audio‑Visual, Security, BMS) to develop, coordinate and manage detailed BIM models using Revit, Navisworks and related tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate BIM models for ICT, audio‑visual, security and building management systems across all project phases.
- Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP engineers to integrate technology systems and resolve clashes using Navisworks and clash detection workflows.
- Create and manage families, templates, and standards in Revit and AutoCAD to ensure consistency and compliance with project specifications.
- Produce construction‑ready documentation, schedules and 3‑D visualisations for client and stakeholder review.
- Support design teams with BIM‑based analysis, quantity take‑offs and data extraction, leveraging Dynamo scripts where appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD in building technology (ICT, AV, Security, BMS) projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP coordination, clash detection and BIM execution planning.
- Proficiency in creating custom families, parameters and Dynamo scripts to automate workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
