QA Engineer
Lead the development of automated tools to streamline BIM workflows, ensuring reliable IFC data exchange and model validation across the construction lifecycle using Python and scripting techniques.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions for BIM processes, including IFC export validation and federated model checks.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts and tools that integrate with the Thinkproject platform to enhance data quality and workflow consistency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify pain points in manual BIM tasks and propose scalable automation strategies.
- Ensure robust testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of automation pipelines.
- Stay current with industry standards and emerging technologies in BIM and data integration.
Requirements
- Proven experience with BIM standards (IFC) and automation using Python or similar scripting languages.
- Strong understanding of construction information management and workflow optimization.
- Ability to translate complex manual processes into repeatable, automated solutions.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with cloud or platform integration is a plus.
