About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data processing pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, and related big‑data technologies.
- Apply natural language processing and advanced machine‑learning models to extract insights from unstructured and structured data.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and domain experts to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model validation to ensure robust, production‑ready outputs.
- Optimize performance of data workflows and models for large‑scale environments, ensuring reliability and cost‑effectiveness.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of professional experience as a Big Data Scientist or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands‑on experience in Apache Spark and Hadoop ecosystems.
- Demonstrated expertise in NLP techniques (e.g., tokenization, embeddings, topic modeling) and machine‑learning algorithms.
- Proven ability to work in multi‑disciplinary teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience deploying models at scale and monitoring their performance in production.
