About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls for battery monitoring firmware and associated IoT devices.
- Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and penetration testing on embedded and networked components.
- Develop secure coding guidelines and perform code reviews to mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate security into the BESS product lifecycle.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, providing root‑cause analysis and remediation plans.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cyber security for embedded or industrial control systems.
- Hands‑on experience with network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap, Metasploit) and vulnerability scanners.
- Knowledge of battery management systems, BESS architecture, and IoT security standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
