About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end design, planning, and execution of enterprise‑grade backup and storage solutions aligned with organizational standards and long‑term technology roadmap.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical implementations.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline backup, recovery, and storage operations.
- Ensure compliance with security policies, data protection regulations, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support during deployment, testing, and troubleshooting of backup and storage environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in backup and storage technologies, preferably with enterprise solutions such as Veeam, NetBackup, or similar.
- Strong Linux administration skills and proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python).
- Experience with automation frameworks and configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
- Solid understanding of data protection, disaster recovery, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
