Engineering Manager
Lead a backend engineering team to design, build, and maintain scalable, high‑performance APIs and blockchain integrations using Python, Node.js, and Hyperledger Fabric on a cloud‑native platform.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and oversee the development of robust, scalable backend services and APIs that support mission‑critical insurance verification workflows.
- Lead a team of backend engineers, setting coding standards, conducting code reviews, and mentoring technical growth.
- Design and implement secure blockchain integrations with Hyperledger Fabric, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with product, security, and DevOps teams to deliver high‑availability, cloud‑native solutions on AWS.
- Drive continuous improvement of performance, reliability, and maintainability across the backend stack.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with strong proficiency in Python and Node.js.
- Hands‑on experience building and scaling RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Deep knowledge of Hyperledger Fabric or similar blockchain platforms.
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, preferably AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record of leading technical teams.
