About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, setting technical direction and ensuring high code quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs and microservices that power value‑added services.
- Architect scalable, cloud‑native solutions on AWS or GCP, leveraging containerization (Docker) and orchestration.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and maintain continuous integration.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to define requirements, resolve technical debt, and optimize performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience with proven leadership skills.
- Strong proficiency in a modern backend language (e.g., Java, Node.js, Go, or Python).
- Hands‑on experience with API design, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tooling.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
