Software Engineer
Backend Software Engineer building performant micro‑services and responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS and server‑side scripting, while collaborating on requirements, design, and testing in a fast‑paced lending technology environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Transform UI/UX designs into clean, semantic HTML and CSS that are fast, accessible, and maintainable.
- Design, develop, and deploy server‑side micro‑services that power core lending workflows and customer journeys.
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and QA to define requirements, prototype solutions, and iterate on features.
- Write unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency with semantic HTML and modern CSS techniques.
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs within micro‑service architectures.
- Familiarity with server‑side scripting languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java) and version control (Git).
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and quickly learn domain concepts in the lending industry.
