About the Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Software Engineer at Fever, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems that power our global platform. You will work on critical projects that directly impact our users and business, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, PHP, Ruby, JavaScript, or TypeScript (Node.js).
• Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and experience with database design.
• Experience with designing and building scalable microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Good communication skills in English.
