Research Engineer
Lead the design and scaling of autonomous AI security agents, blending backend engineering with cutting‑edge AI research. Build robust, containerized services in Python, Postgres, Docker, and Kubernetes while advancing LLM fine‑tuning, reinforcement learning, and multi‑agent reasoning for proactive vulnerability detection.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and scale end‑to‑end agent systems from scratch, ensuring high availability and performance in a containerized environment.
- Develop and maintain backend services in Python, leveraging Postgres for data persistence and Docker/Kubernetes for deployment.
- Collaborate with research teams to implement and evaluate LLM fine‑tuning, reinforcement learning, and multi‑agent frameworks that drive agent reasoning and exploit chaining.
- Design and conduct rigorous evaluation pipelines, creating metrics and benchmarks to measure agent effectiveness and safety.
- Integrate LangChain/LangGraph components to enable natural language understanding and task orchestration within agents.
Requirements
- Strong experience in Python backend development with relational databases (Postgres).
- Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Hands‑on experience with LLM fine‑tuning, reinforcement learning, or related AI research.
- Familiarity with multi‑agent systems and autonomous reasoning.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for building secure, scalable software.
