Devops Engineer
Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend services in Rust, building robust APIs and microservices on AWS, while ensuring high performance, reliability, and continuous delivery.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services using Rust, ensuring scalability and reliability for digital health applications.
- Design and expose RESTful and gRPC APIs, collaborating with frontend and product teams to meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployments on AWS, optimizing for security and cost efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews, performance profiling, and unit/integration testing to uphold code quality and system stability.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional backend development experience, with strong proficiency in Rust.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3) and container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of API design principles, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset.
