Backend Engineer
Senior backend engineer focused on building high‑throughput, real‑time delivery services for feature flagging, leveraging Go, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and scalability.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services that power real‑time feature flag delivery at scale.
- Collaborate closely with SDK, Platform, SRE, and Security teams to integrate new features and improve system resilience.
- Implement performance optimizations, monitoring, and alerting for production workloads.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and incident post‑mortems to drive continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the modernization of legacy components while preserving operational stability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience, with strong proficiency in Go.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, real‑time data pipelines, and high‑availability architectures.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS, SQS, DynamoDB) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong debugging, performance tuning, and observability skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
