Backend Engineer to build and scale a cloud‑based data service platform for autonomous vehicles, leveraging Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot/WebFlux, Kafka, and real‑time ETL pipelines.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop cloud servers for SDV vehicle data transmission and processing.
- Build and maintain large‑scale Kafka‑based data streaming pipelines.
- Implement real‑time ETL pipelines for data collection, transformation, and loading.
- Enhance cloud‑vehicle communication for real‑time data synchronization.
- Architect and operate microservices using Spring Boot/WebFlux.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and fault‑tolerance of the service architecture.
Requirements
- 3+ years of backend development with Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot or Spring WebFlux.
- Strong understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and network protocols.
- Experience with Kafka and real‑time data streaming.
- Proficiency in designing and optimizing ETL pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and microservices best practices.
