About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and data ingestion services that support analytics and personalization platforms.
- Implement robust ETL pipelines to transform and load data from diverse upstream sources into downstream applications.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, data engineers, and platform architects to define data contracts and ensure seamless integration.
- Optimize backend performance, scalability, and security using AWS services and best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data quality and API reliability through logging, metrics, and automated testing.
Requirements
- Proven experience building scalable backend services with Python or Node.js.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, and data modeling.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB).
- Familiarity with ETL tools and data pipeline orchestration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
