Backend Engineer

About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services for AI applications using Python and Node.js.
- Integrate machine learning models into production pipelines, ensuring efficient inference and data flow.
- Implement RESTful APIs, manage database schemas, and optimize SQL queries for large datasets.
- Containerize services with Docker, orchestrate deployments on AWS (ECS/EKS), and set up CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with data scientists, frontend engineers, and product managers to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend development experience, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, and relational database design.
- Hands‑on experience with ML model deployment and performance tuning.
- Solid knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) and container orchestration.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication, and ability to work independently.
