Overview
We’re building modern information governance products that help enterprises understand, protect, and manage their data across Microsoft 365 and Azure. This role is ideal for a strong Azure/.NET engineer who enjoys building real systems used in regulated environments—where security, compliance, and scale actually matter. You’ll work across the Microsoft stack and contribute to AI-enabled features that improve how organizations classify and govern their data.
What You’ll Work On
Build and maintain cloud-native applications across Azure and Microsoft 365
Develop integrations with Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance workflows
Implement AI-driven features (e.g., classification, discovery) using Azure OpenAI / AI services
Design and consume APIs and microservices across distributed systems
Ship features related to data protection (retention, DLP, sensitivity labeling)
Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering peers
Debug and resolve issues in production environments at scale
What You Bring
5+ years of software engineering experience
Strong proficiency in C# / .NET
Hands-on experience building applications in Microsoft Azure
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange)
Experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
Working knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases
Solid engineering fundamentals (testing, code quality, version control)
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience with Microsoft Purview or data governance tools
Exposure to Azure OpenAI, AI Foundry, or similar AI platforms
Familiarity with Microsoft Graph API
Experience with Power Platform or automation workflows
Knowledge of security/compliance concepts (e.g., GDPR, data protection)
CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
