We are seeking an Azure Data Engineer with our client in Orlando, FL for an onsite role.
Job Details:
Job Title: Azure Data Engineer.
Location: Orlando, FL - Onsite.
Type: Contractual [Contract-W2/ FTE]
Eligibility: H4 EAD Only.
Required Qualifications
Platform & Technology:
- Microsoft Fabric experience (primary platform)
- Lakehouse architecture and implementation
- Spark Notebooks development
- Schema design and management
- File and folder structure management
- Access permissions and security
- Alternative Platform Experience (acceptable):
- Databricks lakehouse engineering, OR Other lakehouse platforms with transferable skills
Core Technical Skills:
- Spark or PySpark programming experience (essential)
- Data pipeline development and orchestration
- Working with multi-source data integration (experience with 10+ source systems preferred)
- Understanding of lakehouse file structures and data organization
- Data engineering best practices for large-scale data platforms
Nice to have:
- Understanding of customer interaction data and dimensional modeling concepts
- Experience with customer data platforms or Customer 360 initiatives (nice to have)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines in a Microsoft Fabric lakehouse environment
- Write and optimize Spark notebooks for data processing and transformation
- Manage lakehouse schemas, file structures, and data organization
- Integrate data from multiple source systems into the Customer 360 platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across HR, enterprise, and operations domains
- Ensure data quality, security, and access controls are properly implemented
- Support ongoing technical operations for the Customer 360 initiative
