Data Engineer
Design, build, and maintain Azure‑based ETL/ELT pipelines using Data Factory, Snowflake, and DBT, while ensuring data quality, performance, and alignment with business requirements.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines on Azure Data Factory, integrating data from multiple sources into Snowflake.
- Implement transformation logic using DBT and write optimized SQL queries for data extraction, cleansing, and aggregation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and data models.
- Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and fine‑tune performance for reliability and cost efficiency.
- Enforce data quality, governance, and documentation standards across all data assets.
- Work closely with data analysts, architects, and DevOps teams to support end‑to‑end data solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and Snowflake data warehousing.
- Proficiency in DBT for data modeling and transformation.
- Advanced SQL skills and solid understanding of relational database concepts.
- Hands‑on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in a cloud environment.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality frameworks, and best practices.
