Software Engineer
Versatile Azure Data & ML Support Engineer responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting Azure cloud services, data pipelines, and data warehouse solutions in a Managed Services environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain Azure‑based data platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
- Design, implement, and support data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to SQL databases, data warehousing, and machine‑learning workloads.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to client teams and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Azure services, especially Data Factory, Synapse, and related data‑storage solutions.
- Proficiency in SQL and data‑warehouse design concepts.
- Hands‑on knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with machine‑learning model deployment and monitoring on Azure.
- Ability to obtain or already hold UK Government Security Clearance (SC).
