Azure Cloud and Infrastructure Security Engineer focused on assessing, designing, and implementing security controls for enterprise cloud workloads, driving governance, compliance, and best‑practice architecture across Azure environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments of customer Azure workloads, identifying vulnerabilities and gaps in posture.
- Design and recommend security interventions, including Azure Policy, Azure Security Center, and network segmentation strategies.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement governance frameworks that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide architecture guidance and best‑practice recommendations for secure cloud deployments and continuous improvement.
- Document findings, create actionable roadmaps, and present results to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Azure security services (Azure AD, Azure Policy, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel).
- Strong understanding of cloud governance, compliance frameworks (ISO, NIST, SOC, GDPR), and risk management.
- Hands‑on experience designing secure cloud architectures and implementing security controls.
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical concepts to business audiences.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate or equivalent are a plus.
