Lead cloud automation and DevOps initiatives for AWS environments, designing scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Drive continuous improvement, automation, and best‑practice governance for high‑availability applications.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline) to automate build, test, and deployment of containerized and serverless workloads.
- Lead container orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker, optimizing cluster performance, autoscaling, and rolling updates.
- Implement security best practices, including IAM, VPC, network segmentation, encryption, and automated compliance checks.
- Collaborate with development teams to adopt DevOps culture, provide tooling guidance, and conduct knowledge‑sharing sessions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production environments using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and X-Ray, driving proactive incident response.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in AWS DevOps and cloud automation roles.
- Proficient with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Kubernetes (EKS).
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline).
- Deep understanding of AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub).
