Devops Engineer
Senior engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining AWS-based infrastructure, Linux systems, and CI/CD pipelines to support a mid‑peninsula engineering organization. Focuses on reliability, automation, and cross‑team collaboration with DevOps and 5G teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure AWS architectures that meet performance and compliance requirements.
- Administer Linux servers, manage virtualization environments, and ensure high availability of critical services.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments, and integrate monitoring tools for rapid issue detection.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including 5G DevOps, to establish shared infrastructure standards and best practices.
- Provide tier‑1 internal support, troubleshoot production incidents, and drive continuous improvement of internal IT services.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, with hands‑on architecture and operations.
- Strong Linux administration skills and experience with virtualization technologies.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and configuration management.
- Solid understanding of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative mindset for cross‑team initiatives.
