Senior AWS Data Architect with deep expertise in DevOps, CI/CD, and data lake design, responsible for building secure, scalable data solutions in the cloud.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise‑grade data lake architectures on AWS, leveraging services such as S3, Glue, Lake Formation, and Redshift.
- Lead data integration pipelines using ETL/ELT tools, ensuring high data quality, lineage, and governance.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to build automated CI/CD pipelines for data services, employing tools like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and Terraform.
- Define and enforce security, compliance, and data governance policies across all data assets.
- Mentor and coach cross‑functional teams on best practices for data modeling, performance tuning, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in solution architecture and data management.
- Proven track record designing and deploying data lake solutions on AWS.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD tooling, and infrastructure as code.
- Excellent understanding of data modeling, governance, and security principles.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
