Design, implement, and optimize storage solutions on AWS, leveraging S3, EBS, and IaC tools to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency for enterprise workloads.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable storage services on AWS, including S3, EBS, and Glacier, to support mission‑critical applications.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code templates using Terraform and CloudFormation for repeatable, automated provisioning.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning for storage resources, ensuring compliance with security and data‑retention policies.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate storage solutions into CI/CD pipelines and resolve technical issues.
- Provide guidance on cost‑optimization strategies, data lifecycle management, and best practices for backup and disaster recovery.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience designing and operating storage services on AWS.
- Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation tasks.
- Deep understanding of Linux environments and networking concepts.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus) and implementing security controls for storage resources.
