This is a remote position.

• Cloud Infrastructure Design : Architect and implement robust cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS to meet business needs.
• Security Best Practices : Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards in all cloud operations.
• Cloud Migration Expertise : Lead cloud migration efforts, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
• Cost Optimization : Analyze and implement strategies for cost-effective cloud resource management.
• API Gateway Management : Manage API gateways to facilitate efficient communication between services.
• Data Transformation : Oversee data transformation processes to support integration with various systems.
• Third-Party Integrations : Collaborate with multiple third-party services to enhance system capabilities.

Requirements

• AWS Certifications : Solutions Architect or DevOps certifications are essential.
• 5+ Experience in Telecom/Digital Transformation Projects : Proven track record in relevant projects is non-negotiable.
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical capabilities to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
• Business Process Modelling : Proficiency in modeling tools and techniques.
• BSS Domain Knowledge : Familiarity with Business Support Systems is essential.
• Agile Methodologies : Understanding of agile practices and frameworks to facilitate project delivery.
• Travel Flexibility : Willingness to travel 50% of the time to countries such as Uganda, Rwanda, DRC, Angola, Zimbabwe, and Kenya. A valid passport is required for the contract.
• Language Proficiency : Must be fluent in English; proficiency in French, Swahili, or Portuguese is an advantage.
