About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy end‑to‑end Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies across cloud and on‑prem infrastructures.
- Integrate DLP with SIEM platforms to provide real‑time monitoring and automated threat response.
- Collaborate with security, compliance, and engineering teams to enforce data protection policies and conduct risk assessments.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data classification, policy enforcement, and reporting.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and remediation of data exfiltration events.
- Stay current with emerging DLP technologies, encryption standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data security, with 5+ years focused on DLP implementation.
- Proficiency in cloud security (AWS, GCP) and network security fundamentals.
- Hands‑on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and scripting in Python.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to translate complex security requirements into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives.
