Software Engineer
Lead a high‑impact data engineering team, designing and delivering scalable analytics and reporting solutions on AWS, leveraging SQL, Python, and advanced ETL techniques to empower financial advisors with actionable insights.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store large volumes of financial data on AWS.
- Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver robust reporting dashboards.
- Implement best practices for data quality, governance, and security across the data platform.
- Mentor and grow a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Optimize performance and cost of data workflows, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of leading large‑scale analytics projects.
- Expertise in SQL, Python, and AWS services (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda).
- Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT patterns, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and modern data orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Prefect) is a plus.
